powdered snow thursday

These were done on Monday, when Keira stayed with her tante Francine during snow day. She practiced her 'lettres écriture" and came home with tons of drawings. 

More snow is falling today. It looks like someone's shaking powdered sugar onto the ground. Keira is praying and pleading for a snow day off from school. hehe. Nothin' doin.

Keira shows us how it's done in Wii Bowling. Pardon the mess but it's our playroom. Keepin' it real here folks.

Well, last weekend, we broke out the Wii. We've had it for 2 years now and have never used it. Keira just never showed any interest in it but last weekend's rainy afternoons waiting for playdates to happen made the K super restless. After a rocky start (tons of frustrated tears from Keira trying to figure out the buttons), both Mr C and I were beaten solid in bowling. You should see Keira playing tennis. It's hilarious! She doesn't just wait and hit the tennis ball back, she keeps moving at a frenetic pace hoping to make contact with it. haha! And she loves to KO in boxing.

And I've finally figured out why the kiddo never had interest in computers and games.. or why it frustrated her so. She's a lefty trying to use all the buttons programmed for righties! I've finally started putting the mouse on the left side and we programmed her Mii avatar using the numchucks for lefties. Egads, all this time...

We've been playing a bit of Wii each night after supper this week but if you gave Keira a choice between tickle monster or the Wii? She'll pick the tickle monster..
