soyoung mother lunch boxes

The Purple Dandelion Cooler bag and Pink Giraffe Lunch Box from SoYoung Mother
I am completely in love with these SoYoung Mother cooler and lunch boxes!  I had ordered these a while back, received them right after our summer vacation and have been using them ever since Keira's school year started. What? You remember that Keira receives hot lunches at school? Yes, you're right. But she brings her snacks to school and her new SoYoung Mother lunch box has been bumped, twisted, smacked, dropped, smooshed, opened up twice (or more!) a day, rained on, yogourt spilled inside, and plenty more.. and guess what? The lunch bag still looks as great as it did the first day we got it!

Catherine Choi is the creator and owner behind SoYoung Mother and she first started off designing a diaper bag that was and still is, sophisticated and easy on the eyes. Her diaper/lifestyle bag is an all important parent bag, easy to carry with a shallow bottom and see-through pockets so you'll never have to fumble trying to look for what you need with baby on hand!

Catherine is actually a family friend and I met up with her sometime back. I think the first time I heard and saw her bag was when I saw her at church actually. I then saw her website and was smitten when her lunch and cooler bags were introduced.

And here we are! I love the modern designs and the colours really pop off the bags. Most importantly, these bags open up wide and are incredibly easy to clean (just a damp cloth will do). The bags are also coated on the outside so you'll never have to worry about stains and they also come with a handy strap. I have the Purple Dandelions cooler bag and although they look smaller than the lunch boxes, they pack quite a satisfying lunch as well! I've gotten so many great comments at work and at Keira's school as well.

If you're looking for a lunch bag for yourself or your loved ones, head on over to the SoYoung website and see where you can you get yours. You can either order off the website shop http://www.soyoungmother.com/shop.php or check their retailer link stockist. Thanks Cathy for our great bags! We are loving them..

**Nota: A small tip in washing/drying instructions from Catherine: "Just in case you get a spill in the lunch box, even though the instructions say do not machine wash or dry, if the linen gets wet to the point where you can see it has penetrated the outside layer, then please dry in the dryer." I'm thinking low heat and check to make sure your bag is thoroughly dry. Thanks Catherine!

These are so lovely! They look so "fabric" and it surprised me they can be cleaned with a damp cloth! Ingenious.

Nani: Lol! Although the photos are terrific on the SYM site, it still doesn't do it justice. The colors are more vibrant up close and they are really fantastic to use.
Lil: I know! I love that linen texture and the fact that they're coated so.. so easy to clean!

Wow... way more stylish than my son's Spider Man lunch bag! Thanks for the super nice comment on my blog! Glad to find your blog!

Lia, you live in Asia. I find that hard to believe! lol. Peer pressure makes my daughter want Barbie, Tinkerbell etc on her lunch boxes but I hate the quality of those bags.. and they don't zip all the way open, so hard to clean. But the super pink on her giraffe bag + the extra slip pocket on the outside.. she loves this bag! She puts all kinds of junk in the slip pocket. lol!

The shoulder strap is an inspired idea, and the classic design is a welcome change for me. A quality item that looks good? Fantastic! I love the shots too! Great ad campaign :o)

It suits her. Also I love the way the photos were taken. I really appreciate the angle. I'm into photography as well and I really really like it. Keep it up! =) Oh yes, you might like to try a stainless steel tiffin container. It's perfect for picnic/outdoor activities, school and office use. With its quality, you can guarantee its durability, as well as security.
