hot weekend

We are so ready to vacation!

The goggles we bought last year on our vacation - still fits this year!

I can't believe another weekend has come and gone! Maybe that's why I couldn't sleep last night. I didn't want it to end so quickly. Today was supposed to be rainy but it turned out to be another hot and gorgeous day! I finished up spray-painting our 2 dining chairs to match the black ones we bought last weekend (or was that the weekend before?) and also spray-painted our corner shelf as well. Dining room is coming along..

We (meaning Mr C) put out Keira's inflatable pool yesterday so that the water could warm up for today. I'm so glad Mr C put the pool on our deck as I think the wood warmed up the water faster than if it had been on our lawn. Keira had a great time 'swimming' in there today and brought in all her lovely Barbie & Polly Pocket friends.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend as well!

I think you better start saving your money...she's obviously a water baby and going to want a real pool soon!

Adorable! Glad her little friends were able to come in with her! I am ALL about some spray paint, btw, my favorite decorating tool!

Thanks everyone for the lovely compliments. She's a cutie! @Joyce: She's already been asking for a bigger 'pool'. Like our neighbor's (above ground full-sized pool)! Yikes. We were thinking of the same inflatable pool minus the hissing holes (somewhere). lol.

How charming - children prancing about in water - the very delights of warmer weather. Your child's face is so expressive - like an exclamation mark:-)
