new new new new park (!)

Yes, that's right. New x 4 park has finally unveiled itself this late summer. This is the 4th park to open up in this neighborhood and finally, it's only a block away. So much closer in fact that, when Keira had to go the bathroom yesterday, we were able to cycle home and cycle back in mere minutes! It's a small park, no swings or water fountain but hey, can't complain.

As you can see in this pic, the park's edging needs to be finished and parents have already alerted the city officials that this park needs swings...

It's been great to take a lazy stroll outside after supper, play at the park for an hour and then come back home for a bath and dodo. I wonder, is that why Keira was up at 5:30am today?! A day where I wanted to sleep in and didn't care to be late for work?! Karma...

That's so great that the park is so close by. I wish that there was one within walking distance. Taking the car to every park seems silly but we have to do that.

We are so lucky that my parent's live right beside a park. Right beside. Like I can hear my mom sneeze if her windows are open.

p.s. Hudson is the only kid I know that doesn't like swings.

@joyce: what?! doesn't like swings? maybe he's like adam who gets motion sickness. keira can swing for h o u r s. lol.
@audrey: oh believe me! when we moved in this place, it took forever to get ready to go to the local park (there was only 1 and that was only 2 yrs ago!). But these parks have been sprouting up all over the place here. We live amongst golden-agers and young families.
